The Theil Gallery

The Theil Gallery, a little far out from the centre (depends on how you look at it) of Stockholm (on the island of Djurgården ), is an intimate collection of the art collector, Ernest Theil. The Art Nouveau styled was built for Earnest himself, by architect Ferdinand Boberg. The spaces are very interesting use of human scale in different rooms and areas of the home.

Hilarious Stockholm Subway Names

Just found a translation to the Stockholm metro map translated directly to English, it’s actually quite hilarious! Favourites includes Horn’s Toll, Coffin, Big Bog, Exhale and Rock Star!

Save two days of your life

I love sorbet, and I love infographics. Can’t wait to give this a try.

Film Review: Antichrist

Antichrist is Lars von Trier’s latest work, and things really just go from bad to worse to one of the most visually depictive and disturbing films I’ve seen. On a scale of shockingly nastiness, this is up there with Old Boy. I must say though, it does have some amazing scenes, but then, you should watch just the trailer and skip the movie perhaps. Don’t bring your boyfriend/girlfriend, and especially don’t bring your mother.

Overall experience: 8/10 (in a negative way)

Acne Paper & Eroticism

One of my favourite magazines out there. I remember the first issue that came out, I bought it immediately, and took it to the closest piazza in Milan to read it. It was gorgeous. Something I’ve always been looking for. The format definately captures your attention, with A3, the pages flip beautifully. The typography throughout the magazine shows attention to details. This issue deals with the subject of Eroticism, and has collaborated with the best photographers, models, writers and artists out there. Be sure to check it Acne Paper .

Gelato in Milan

One of the last times in Milan having gelato with tourists! One of my favourite gelateria in Milan, for crepes too would be this shop just behind Piazza Ventiquattro Maggio, with all the wooden interior, and the smell of tastiness.

Carlshamn’s Goodness

About six years ago I realized I was slowly becoming lactose intolerant. Though I never had time to get myself checked out, life without milk isn’t all that bad. During our last trip to the grocery store, we picked up these gorgeous looking drinks, one is yogurt from soy with blueberries I think, while the other one is a rice drink. Are they as tasty as they look?

Ryan McGinley for Missoni

I normally don’t do this, but this deserves a mention. Ryan McGinley’s done it again, always makes such inspiring images, even for a campaign. Much love.
